2 tsp baking powder
100g caster sugar
50ml sunflower oil
200 ml runny yogurt or milk.
Sieve dry ingredients, add wet and beat 1 min. Add red food colouring to half mix. 170 C (340 F) for about 15 - 18 mins.
You can buy a battenburg tin, which is oblong with dividers in or you can just bake each colour in the bottom of a loaf tin and then cut in half. Join together with apricot jam and then roll out marzipan in icing sugar and wrap round and stick with jam.
