Food Acceptable On Ekadasi
- All fruits (fresh and dried);
- All nuts and nut oils;
- All types of sugar;
- Buckwheat;
- Potatoes, cassava and sweet potatoes;
- Coconut;
- Olives;
- Baking soda;
- Milk;
- Fresh ginger;
- Black pepper; and
- Salt.
These flours are also acceptable on Ekadasi:
- Maranth flour (rajgira atta);
- Arrowroot flour;
- Buckwheat flour;
- Chestnut flour;
- Potato flour (potato starch);
- Quinoa flour;
- Tapioca flour; and
- Water-chestnut flour.
